Jerry Pang-Ching Named Head Professional At Kapalua Village Course

Recently, Kapalua Land Company, Ltd. announced the promotion of Jerry Pang-Ching to Head Professional of the Kapalua Village Course on Maui.

Pang-Ching was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He has been a member of the Professional Golfers Association since 1991.

He joined Kapalua Land Company in 1985, and most recently served as the Supervisor of Guest Services at Kapalua's Plantation Course. He replaces Douglas Bohn, who recently accepted a position on the mainland.

In his new position, Pang-Ching will oversee the day-to-day operations of Kapalua's Village Course. Additionally, his knowledge of Kapalua will be an asset to the opening of the new Village Course Clubhouse and Kapalua Golf Academy.

"We look forward to having Jerry's experience at Kapalua assist in the smooth transition from our current clubhouse to the new Village Course Clubhouse and Kapalua Golf Academy," said Marty Keiter, Director of Golf for Kapalua. Kapalua Land Company broke ground on the project in January of this year. The new 27,000-square foot clubhouse and state-of-the-art teaching facility are scheduled for completion in the year 2000.
