Dean Ornish, MD

Kabba Anand, DAc, LAc, Dipl. Ac, Dipl. CH

Dr. Anand is president of AcuPlan Hawaii, Hawaii's first acupuncture independent practice association. Dr. Anand pioneered the inclusion of acupuncture and Oriental medicine at Maui Memorial Medical Center (MMMC) — the first state hospital in Hawaii to credential acupuncturists as Allied Health staff members.

Sandra Be-Taylor

A pioneer in the field of quantum metaphysics, Sandra has been a mentor to successful entrepreneurs, politicians, artists, celebrities, educators, physicians and indigenous people for over thirty years. Sandra’s role as Staff Healer for ten years at the Grand Wailea Resort and Spa in Maui, Hawaii, has led her to her current designation as an Intuitive Life Coach with The Ritz Carlton Kapalua's Waihua Spa. Krista Clarke

Krista has reigned as a fitness champion, and been featured on Access Hollywood, In the Spotlight and NBC to name a few. She is currently the host of Time to Tone which is both an exercise DVD series and weekly show on Krista co-authored the book, Fat That Doesn’t Come Back, with her husband and business partner, Robert Ferguson. Together they live in Southern California where they co-own an integrated fitness and health center in addition to two Wellness Weight-Loss offices.

Robert Ferguson, MS

Acknowledged as the "Renaissance Man of Wellness," Robert has established himself as a leader in the wellness community and is the first to successfully integrate fitness, nutrition and psychology. Michael Klaper, MD

Dr. Klaper, a physician with training in surgery, anesthesiology, orthopedics and obstetrics at the University of California Hospitals in San Francisco, realized early in his career that many of the diseases his patients brought to his office were made worse, or actually caused, by the high-fat, overly processed Standard American Diet (S.A.D.). This realization lead him to implement nutritionally-based therapies in his practice, showing that proper nutrition and a balanced lifestyle are essential for health, and in many cases make the difference between healing an illness and merely treating symptoms.

George Martin, MD

Dr. Martin is American Board Certified in both Dermatology and Internal Medicine. He is co-founder and medical director of the annual international dermatology meeting Advances in Cosmetic and Medical Dermatology. Dr. Martin has been awarded several teaching awards and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Martin has practiced general dermatology on Maui since 1989. He is the developer Doc Martin's Sunblock, the premier waterproof and sunblock used by professional athletes. Dr. Martin recently opened Rejuvenenscene Skin Care and Laser Center in Kihei, Maui.


Clifford Nae`ole

Nae'ole is on the Board of Directors for the Native Hawaiian Hospitality Association and Founder of Ho`ohali'a Consultants. He also serves as Hawaiian Culture Advisor to The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua and Kapalua Land Company, Ltd.; additionally, Nae`ole lectures internationally on Hawaiian culture and aloha, and works with companies to bridge the gap between Hawaii's host culture and businesses.

Kahu Kapi`ioha`okalani Lyons Na`one

Kahu Naone is a noted Hawaiian practitioner (kahuna) and teacher. He is well known for the ancient hands-on spiritual healing practice called Iluna A'e of which he teaches and practices in Hawaii, nationally and internationally. He recently opened a school in Munich , Germany where he teaches Iluna A'e (spiritual healing), Ho'oponopono (conflict resolution), la'au lapa'au (herbal healing) and other Hawaiian and indigenous subjects. He is actively working to incorporate traditional healing elements into spa treatments and facilities.

Madana Peatross

Madana is the executive chef and owner of Creative Cuisine, a gourmet vegetarian catering company specializing in international cuisine. Based in Honolulu for the last 20+ years Madana has created healthy deli’s around the island, made signature dishes for restaurants, customized meals for our private clients; and also planned and catered events including a wedding at Queen Emma's summer palace. Madana has worked and taught in Europe, and worked with Wolfgang Puck on Bounty of Hawaii. Ron Rosedale, MD

Dr. Rosedale is a internationally renowned expert in nutritional and metabolic medicine and is a specialist in the biology of aging. He is founder of the Rosedale Center in Denver, CO; cofounder of the Colorado Center for Metabolic Medicine in Boulder, CO; and founder of the Carolina Center of Metabolic Medicine in Asheville, North Carolina. Terry Shintani, MD

Dr. Shintani is the Director of Preventive and Integrative Medicine for Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center and President of the Hawaii Health Foundation. Additionally, he is the author of Eat More, Weigh Less Diet, Hawaii Diet and The Good Carbohydrate Revolution. He received his master's degree in nutrition from Harvard University and both his medical and law degrees from the University of Hawaii. Laurie Steelsmith, ND, MSA

Dr. Laurie Steelsmith is a Naturopathic Physician, Licensed Acupuncturist, and author of Hawaii’s best selling book Natural Choices for Women’s Health. She has had a busy family practice in Honolulu since 1993. Widely respected for her views on natural medicine, for other past five years she has written a monthly column for The Honolulu Advertiser, and the Honolulu Weekly has credited her with being the best alternative practitioner for women’s health care in Honolulu.

Kumu Ramsay Taum

Taum is the Director of Oahu Operations at The Hawaii Nature Center where he is actively involved in the promotion of environmental education and sustainability based on the Native Hawaiian Ahupua’a management system. He works with the University Of Hawaii School Of Travel Industry Management as part-time lecturer and ECO-TIM community outreach coordinator. As the Associate Director of the private, not-for-profit Native Hawaiian Hospitality Association, Ramsay also provides consultancy services aimed at integrating Native Hawaiian host cultural values and principles into contemporary business models through lectures, training classes and seminars. He is a practitioner and instructor of several Native Hawaiian practices including ho’oponopono (stress management and conflict resolution), lomi haha (body alignment) and lua (Hawaiian combat/battle art).

Maka`ala Yates, DC

Dr. Yates is President and CEO of Mana Ola Health Organization and the Hawaiian Healing Institute of Integrated Studies. A certified Hawaiian healing instructor/facilitator and Hawaiian medicine specialist, he is a board member of Ahahui Ho'ola Hawaii and the Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Association.

Ira Zunin, MD, MPH, MBA

Dr. Zunin is the founder and medical director of Manakai O Malama Integrative Healthcare Group and Rehabilitation Center. The center brings together Western medicine, psychology, acupuncture, Chinese medicine, massage, physical therapy, and nutritional services in partnership for optimal health.
