Andrew Weil, MD
Dr. Weil has devoted the past thirty years to developing, practicing, and teaching others about the principles of integrative medicine. He is the Director of Integrative Health & Healing at Miraval life in Balance as well as the Founder and Director of the Program in Integrative Medicine (PIM) at the College of Medicine, University of Arizona, where he is also a Clinical Professor of Medicine and Professor of Public Health and the Lovell-Jones Professor of Integrative Rheumatology. Kabba Anand, D.Ac., L.Ac., Dipl. Ac., Dipl. C.H.
Dr. Anand has been in private practice in Hawai‘i for almost 20 years; he co-founded AcuPlan Hawai‘i, Hawai‘i's first acupuncture Independent Practice Association, where he served as President for nine years. He pioneered the inclusion of acupuncture and Oriental medicine at Maui Memorial Medical Center and his efforts led to Allied Health staff privileges for Acupuncture, Massage, Chiropractic, and Naturopathic medicine. Dr. Anand is nationally certified in both acupuncture and Chinese Herbology, and served as Chairman for the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicinefor three years and Commissioner for six years. He maintains active membership in several professional organizations, including the Society for Acupuncture Research and the National QiGong Association. Dr. Anand donates his time and expertise working with hospice patients, regularly teaches qigong, and serves as a research consultant. He is a columnist for Acupuncture Today and in November, he will co-teach satellite symposia “Acupuncture in Oncology Practice” at the Society for Integrative Oncology’s third annual international conference. |

Dr. Dellacroce is a Chiropractor and Health Educator on Maui’s West Side. She received her MA degree in Exercise Physiology/Wellness Education under the direction of Dr. F. D. Rohter at the University of Central Florida and her Doctorate from Life West Chiropractic College in the San Francisco Bay Area. Kajira Djoumahna

Christopher Griffin
Griffin, a Master ChiRunning® /ChiWalking® Instructor , was personally trained and mentored by Danny Dreyer, the founder of these two revolutionary techniques. A runner for over 20 years, Griffin experienced all of running’s challenges, injuries, pain and exhaustive physical effort; but after coming across ChiRunning® /ChiWalking® his experience of movement was forever changed. Running and walking went from result focused fitness sports to process oriented practices. Tami Hulcher
Nationally recognized as “The Queen of Health™,” Hulcher is president and CEO of Ola Loa, Inc., health educator, writer, soon-to-be author, and mother of three children (ages 18, 19, 21). Geordie Jahner, Ph.D., Psychology/Expressive Arts
Dr. Jahner is a dance artist, educator, and experienced facilitator of movement-based therapies. Formerly a professional modern dancer and dance teacher, Dr. Jahner currently leads seminars and workshops internationally teaching the 5Rhythms works of Gabrielle Roth and the Halprin Life/Art Process. She is a Teaching Associate of both The Moving Center NYC, and Tamalpa Institute CA, and serves as President of the Tamalpa Institute Board. Dr. Jahner is passionate about the exploration of dance as a healing art, as a performing art, and as spiritual practice. Her classes are designed to free the spontaneous dancer living inside each of us, inviting participants to sink deeper into presence. Mirka Kraftsow
Kraftsow has been teaching viniyoga and practicing yoga therapy since 1988, helping hundreds of individuals develop and maintain a personal practice and manage challenging personal and therapeutic conditions. She trains teachers and therapists at the American Viniyoga Institute (AVI) where her husband, founder Gary Kraftsow has been the Director of Teacher Development for more than a decade. She also developed material for his two books Yoga for Wellness and Yoga for Transformation as well as consulted on several successful yoga studies nationwide. Kraftsow lives on Maui and teaches weekly classes at The Studio Maui when she’s not leading retreats across the USA and Italy. |

Jacob Liberman, O.D., Ph.D., D.Sc.

Renée Loux
Loux has a passion for food and green living. As the author of two books, Living Cuisine and most recently The Balanced Plate, she has worked in the field of nutrition and culinary arts for a dozen years as a chef, teacher, consultant and former owner of The Raw Experience restaurant in Paia, Hawai‘i. Loux appeared alongside Woody Harrelson in the movie Go Further, awarded “Audience Choice” at the 2003 Toronto Film Festival. With an invested interest in conservation and sustainability, she sits on the Board of Maui Tomorrow, an advocacy group for land use planning and responsible growth for Maui County, and is active on GMO issues in Hawai‘i. Elizabeth Kapu‘uwailani Lindsey, Ph.D.
Dr. Lindsey is a cultural anthropologist, award-winning filmmaker and former Miss Hawai‘i. Raised by native Hawaiian elders, she is the great-granddaughter of Hawaiian chiefs, English seafarers and Chinese merchants. An esteemed international speaker who captivates audiences with her passion for ancestral wisdom, Dr. Lindsey believes such knowledge has much to offer a modern world. Her speaking engagements include Capitol Hill, Harvard University, the Smithsonian Institute, and the American Museum of Natural History and Oxford University. In Hawai‘i, Dr. Lindsey serves as an advisor to the Mauna Kea Astronomy Educational Center, Trustees of the Kamehameha Schools, University of Hawaii at Hilo, and as a member of the board of PBS Hawai‘i. George Martin M.D
Dr. Martin is American Board Certified in both Dermatology and Internal Medicine. He is co-founder and medical director of the annual international dermatology meeting Advances in Cosmetic and Medical Dermatology. Dr. Martin has been awarded several teaching awards and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Martin has practiced general dermatology on Maui since 1989. His areas of interest are cancer and reconstructive surgery, laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology. He is the developer Doc Martin’s Sunblock, the premier waterproof sunblock used by professional athletes. Dr. Martin has recently opened Rejuvenescence Skin Care and Laser Center in Kihei, Maui.

Ashley Mueller
Mueller first stepped into a ballet class at age 5. From there her love for dance expanded to Modern, Character and Flamenco. She spent a total of 15 years classically training and teaching at Oregon Ballet Theater and San Francisco Ballet. Mueller began to simultaneously explore the worlds of yoga and Ballroom Dance and after a few years training, she apprenticed and taught regularly Hatha and Vinyasa Flow classes. Mueller also assisted in all forms of Ballroom Dance classes including East/West Coast Swing, Tango, Salsa, Fox Trot and more. Eventually she was lead to Maui where she furthered her knowledge of the body by attending massage school. Mueller says, "I believe it is important to learn expression through movement at a very young age. I thank my background in dance for the person I have become today. Nothing makes me happier than to be able to give the gift of dance to children and adults."

Clifford Nae‘ole
Nae‘ole is on the Board of Directors for the Native Hawaiian Hospitality Association and Founder of Ho‘ohali‘a Consultants. He also serves as Hawaiian Culture Advisor to The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua and Kapalua Land Company, Ltd.; additionally, Nae‘ole lectures internationally on Hawaiian culture and aloha, and works with companies to bridge the gap between Hawaii's host culture and businesses.

Kahu Kapi‘ioho Lyons Na‘one
Kahu Na‘one is a noted Hawaiian elder, healing practitioner, and teacher. Trained since the age of 6 in the traditional Hawaiian style in the most remote area of Maui, he now conducts healing sessions and practitioner training in Hawai‘i, on the mainland of the United States, the South Pacific, Germany and Switzerland. Kahu Na‘one is renowned as an expert in la‘au lapa‘au (Hawaiian herbal medicines), and he is more recently in demand for iluna a‘e (spiritual/emotional) and ho‘oponopono (conflict resolution) treatments. Kahu Na‘one is actively working to incorporate traditional healing elements into mainstream spa treatments and facilities. |

Frank D. Rohter Ph.D
Dr. Rohter is a trained Exercise Physiologist whose most recent distinctions include the Honor of Professor Emeritus and being inducted into the Intercollegiate Hall of Fame at the University of Central Florida. He is the Director of the Institute of Exercise Physiology and Wellness specializing in Coronary Artery Disease Prevention and Weight Management Intervention. Dr. Rohter has consulted for many public and private organizations, including Walt Disney World. He is also a Member Emeritus of the American College of Sports Medicine and has completed 12 marathons, 320 triathlons and 2 Ironman Triathlons since 1979.

Kumu Ramsay Taum
Taum is the Special Assistant to the Dean on Host Culture and Community Affairs at the University of Hawai‘i Travel Industry Management School at Manoa. He is also Director of Oahu Operations for The Hawaii Nature Center. A graduate of the Kamehameha Schools, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in public administration from the University of Southern California. Taum continues to consult with the Native Hawaiian Hospitality Association as a speaker and cultural consultant integrating Native Hawaiian host cultural values and principles into contemporary business models through lectures, training classes and seminars. He is a practitioner and instructor of several Native Hawaiian practices including ho‘oponopono (stress management and conflict resolution), lomi haha (body alignment) and lua (Hawaiian combat/battle art). Maka‘ala Yates, D.C.
Dr. Yates is a kanaka maoli (Hawaiian ancestry) who specializes in Hawaiian medicine. He is a board member of the Ahahui Ho‘ola Hawai‘i (Hawaiian Healers Council) and the Pacific Island Council of Traditional Healers, Dr. Yates has been practicing and teaching Hawaiian healing concepts for over 25 years, trained by the Hawaiian healing masters on his native home, the Big Island of Hawai‘i. He is President and Founder of Mana Ola Health Organization, an outreach program that provides free alternative healthcare and scholarships to individuals in communities that could otherwise not afford it, and the Hawaiian Healing Institute of Integrated Studies. Ira Zunin, M.D., MPH, MBA
Dr. Zunin is the founder and medical director of Manakai O Malama Integrative Clinic and Rehabilitation Center specializing in preventive and occupational health, and executive wellness. He currently serves as President of the Hawaii State Consortium for Integrative Health Care established to support conferences, research, and business and legal solutions through a collaborative effort among major health care stakeholders. Dr. Zunin earned his medical degree from UCLA School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Preventive Medicine in Hawai‘i and earned a Master’s Degree in Public Health. After further experience in the field he earned Specialty Board Certification in General Preventive Medicine and Public Health and has served as Assistant Clinical Professor at the School of Public Health at the University of Hawai‘i. He is also certified by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners. Dr. Zunin spent several years studying Tibetan medicine in India and Nepal and later gained additional training in Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is also a physician acupuncturist, a member of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture and was appointed by the Governor to the Hawai‘i State Board of Acupuncture.
