Kapalua Changes Mercedes Championships Staff

Mercedes Championships Tournament Director Kim David Carpenter has been promoted to Vice President/Marketing for Kapalua Land Co. He will now oversee marketing and public relations for Kapalua resort. Nancy Cross, involved with all tournament operations at Kapalua since 1982, has been promoted to tournament director. Donna Nabavi has joined Kapalua as public relations manager. She will oversee Kapalua's media relations.

Woods Strikes Again, Furyk, Hart and Sutton

Qualify for 2001 Mercedes Championships:
Jim Furyk (Doral-Ryder Open), Dudley Hart (Honda Classic) and Hal Sutton (The PLAYERS Championship) qualified for the 2001 Mercedes Championships with victories this month. Meanwhile, 2000 Mercedes Championships winner Tiger Woods earned his third win of the year at the Bay Hill Invitational.
