Tom Pernice, Jr. (Eight-Under Par): "I got off to a pretty good start. It wasn't quite as windy early, for the first three, four or five holes. I played pretty solid from there. I made a few putts, and I hit it in there close. I played really well the first day, which I thought was the windiest conditions. I just didn't make any putts."
