A Sense of Place
Clifford Nae'ole, Kapalua's cultural advisor, offers a glimpse into Hawaii's ancient history through a weekly historical "Sense of Place" encounter. Visitors meet at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua and view a cultural film and tour the Hawaiian Medicinal Garden and Honokahua Preservation site, where nearly 2,000 ancient Hawaiians burials dating between 610 A.D. and 1800 were discovered.
