The Mercedes
Championships, the season-opening champions-only PGA TOUR
event, returns to The
Plantation Course at Kapalua, Maui, Hawaii, December 31,
2001 through January 6, 2002. An elite field of the 2001 PGA
TOUR champions competes in this exciting four-day event. The
field of golf's greatest players includes defending champion,
Jim Furyk, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Davis Love III, Sergio
Garcia and many more.

Tournament
host, Kapalua Maui Charities, Inc., a not-for-profit 501(c)3
organization, raised over $232,000 for the local community
