Kids At Kapalua, kids meet new friends and have creative fun through a variety of programs. The Kapalua Keiki Club offers four months of fun from September 1, 2005 through December 15, 2005. This special program allows keikis (children) age 5 to 16 to enjoy all Kapalua has to offer. If accompanied by a paying resort adult guest, keiki can participate for free in selected golf and tennis activities, the Art School at Kapalua, and much more. For children 5-12 years, The Art School at Kapalua, offers daily arts and crafts workshops such as "paint your own" ceramics, clay, fine arts for kids, introduction to pottery throwing and much more. Kids who are interested in the performing arts can learn acting skills in the "Moovin & Groovin" workshop or join in on Keiki Ballet, Hip Hop Dance, Modern Jazz and creative movement. The Adventure 7 program offers horseback riding, kayaking and surfing paired with art exploration and other sports activities to children ages 11-16 through The Art School at Kapalua. The Ritz Kids© program at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua invites keiki at the hotel to meet other young guests and have fun building sand castles, swimming, snorkeling and participating in Hawaiian crafts, recreational games, beach and pool parties, hula lessons and eco-adventures. |
